thinking back

rick and rui blogged about what they miss in plymouth and i thought i'd chime in with my two bits. i think what i miss the most is the spontenaiety, the ablility to just spur of the moment gather together with one or ten friends for tea, conversation, or a full fledged function. i have tried to replicate this here and on the weekends it works fairly well with certain friends for certain things. it always works with kellyn, which is comforting and we have a great time dropping whatever we're doing for a ride around the green belt or a dip in the river or a random fart fight, which despite what she says, i always win. i also miss the people i became quite close to while there, and you know who you are. informal shout out to the international coalition.
less substantial misses: the sea, better food selection for vegan/vegetarians, being in a prime location for other european travel, smaller filters for rolling my own fags, london, and stopping at the local spar for a freddo frog and chardalusco.
