1. acquire friends who crave adventure and who aren't working, studying, or otherwise engaged
2. pile into a blue car and make the one hour drive to torquay, also known as the english riviera
3. amble along the beach, convincing the aforementioned friends that collecting shells, rocks, and debris is fascinating rather than nerdy
4. scramble up rock formations to get the best view of the sea
5. meander around the city, stopping only for lunch, tea, and original devon ice cream
6. drive back to plymouth and crash exhausted yet satisfied into bed.
